weird heat coming out of ebrake area

weird heat coming out of ebrake area
When i drive my car i feel this heat coming out of my ebrake area. Is taht normal since the cat is rite under there? I took out the lil rubber peice that covers the ebrake hole up, is that the reason heat is coming out? Also i just installed an alarm and did alot of wiring, i dont think wiring sumthing wrong could produce that much heat would it? Theres no wires there anyways. Anybody know wuts up?

Im kidding sir, yes that's normal. Just the heat from your exhaust pipe. It happens to all the cars but is more noticeable when your windows are rolled down.
