Weird Electrical Problem
Here is my problem.
My car likes to "stall" when I am driving. Ill be driving along and all of a sudeen the steering wheel gets tighter and my oil and battery light will be on. Cant give the car any gas. It just dies. Then I restart it while the car is still moving and it will start right up. I have no clue what to check for. Should I begin with my battery and alternator. I checked the grounds and they werent loose or anything.

main relay? do you have a fuel cutoff switch? when the car stalls, pull over and look at your fuel pressure gauge. If it's at 40-ish, then the fuel pump is okay and you're losing spark... then, suspect the dizzy and related functional components.

Re: (bbarbulo)
No Fuel cut off. No fuel pressure gauge. There wasnt nay oil int eh spark plug hole this time and I made sure I checked and rechecked the connections from the dizzy to the spark plugs. Would a low idle have any indications......
