weird electrical issues with 99 honda Civic
Hello All,
So i had an issue with my car were i kept blowing fuse 15 and my speedo didn't work my check engine light was on (Tested and said my O2 sensors failed) and my voltage to my alternator wasn't working only putting out 12.7 volts
SO i got that fixed as it was an electrical short was the wire harness by the manafold c115 or something like that cant remember the harness #
So it was working just fine for about 2 months
But now
sometimes when i am driving my dash/headlights dim and go bright again this happens even if i am travelling at hwy speeds
I have tested the alternator/battery and its fine my charge maintains at about 14.6 volts well atleast every time i tested it
So i webnt back to the previous problem and the harness is still good from the last fix
So i have no clue what could be wrong

One candidate: The ELD (electrical load detector). Do a search for {ELD flicker site:honda-tech.com} at yahoo.com and read the hits.
You really ought to do a full alternator test per http://www.autozone.com/shopping/rep...00c1528018f68b. You will need a multimeter (I know, "doh.")

Check the c115 connecter under the intake manifold AGAIN, there is a short causing the fuse to blow the engine light to come on and code p0135,p0141,p1298 or p0501. If it is not under the intake trace that harness, it is shorting somewhere.
