Default Weird car problems, my winter beater

alright, so I swapped my old engine in an lx shell i got for 250. she ran fine, got it safetied and etested the next day I got it to run. then about 500km later, I get an engine light and my car starts to sputter, so bad that I can't drive it.
I park it in my garage over night (to warm it up, it's -10 outside) and i heard a soft humming late at night. so I check it out, and it's my horn.
it's humming very slow. so I had my hood open at this time so I slam it shut and it stopped.
next day I go to start her, and the battery is dead, and I mean completely dead,
no accessories, no lights, no clicks. so I boost her, get both codes
I get the codes, 15, and 16
I research them, and figure that code 15 was my coil
and code 16 my my fuel injectors.

so I thought I had a spare dizzy for code 15, but I didn't
so I unhook my injector plugs and put a voltage meter to each of my injectors and get an ohms reading, so I assume my injectors are good.
put everything back together
bring my car for a ride and she feels fine, back to normal. 2 minutes later code comes back on and my car starts to sputter again.
I park it over night.
next day go to start her. shes dead.
get her boosted, change the coil. she ran fin for 2 minutes, sputters again. get the code. code 16 only this time.
and a weird ticking started from inside my car in the dash on the driver side.

this is with a brand new battery.
does any body know what's up with my car ? if you guys red this far, thanks.

I believe my dead battery is caused by my horn
and when I search it mentioned something about the main really causing code 16, but that's just want someone said.
and when the battery dies, it resets the ECU, and I believe it works fine, till the code comes back, and the ecu goes in limp mode or something, I cant' seem to rev over 3k.

A code 16 sets any time there is a break in the electrical path for the injectors. The main relay is the common cause. Replacement or just resoldering the joints on the relay will correct the problem.

The "wierd ticking" is curious though. That could be caused by a bad solder joint on the relay, or it's not getting enough juice to keep the relay coil energized (dead or low battery).
