Weird A/C issues - 1994 Civic si
So, with my gauges hooked up, my low side is about 30psi, but my high side is only at 150psi.
Here's the steps I've done to help...
1. Before, I found a leak in my evaporator, so I changed that with new (included new Expansion valve)
2. Replaced my Dryer when the system was opened.
3. Two cans of R134a.
My concern is the temp coming out is somewhat cold, but nothing compared to my Integra nor my M3. Any tips or suggestions out there?
note: (I found a slight leak in my high side hose in between the compressor and condenser, but I feel that doesn't have an issue with it not getting to the coldness I expect.
The car does have 271K on the condenser and maybe 80k on the compressor.

Was the system evacuated thoroughly prior to recharge?
Post the low and high side pressures with the engine running at 1500 rpm in the shade and the A/C set to Max cool and recirc. Also mention the outside temp/humidity and the temp at the vent during the test.
Any refrigerant leak is not good.

Re: Weird A/C issues - 1994 Civic si
I had the system on a 6cfm pump for a good 10-12 mins after all new parts were on.
@ 1500, the system is 24psi for low, and 159psi for the high side. Car is in my garage, outside temp is around 94 today.
I did notice my heat shield on the side of my compressor is missing :-/ Don't know if that is a huge factor or not. My temp vent is around 51. My integra yesterday out in the sun was at 44.
Thanks for the help!

Thank for the help. I've got a new hose on order, and when the system is evacuated I'll take out the condenser to clean all the **** that's been pitted in it. might as well check the compressor while I'm at it too.
I tested the lines for clogs when the evap was getting changed (using my air blower) and there was not blockage.
I've got the manual handy, but just couldn't find a real solution to my problem. I was going off this...

But yea, new hose and some cleaning, then I'll come back to this thread. Thanks again.
