Well i finally got the car done...and all my lights flash as if they all were on hazard...gets worse when i rev it up...but at idle around 800 they seem to stop doing it...dunno but i think i have a slight exahust leak.

engine and transmission ground wires.
did you connect them both?
also check the surfaces they are attached to.

I had this problem with my 97 hatch. Its like they were pulsing with the motor it turned out i didnt put my fuse back into my fuse box. It was number 15 i believe check your fuses. Is your CEL light on

no cels...beside speed sensor,,,,what do i have to ddo to fix that with the p28?

amazing...fuse 15 was blown...I put another fuse in there and it blows it...waht is that fuse to?

i had this problem too. look for the wires under the intake manifold. there are service connectors there, and youll see a black with a yellow stripe wire, (really there are a few of those wires in the same service connectors) make sure it is not grounding out on the engine to manifold bracket. the fuse is for alternator and speed sensor

Well i had to make my connector cap...which one is the the grey or blue one?

i think it is the gray one look for wires open
the littlest open in the wire will do it
take off the bracket that goes engine to manifold and see if there are any markes from the wire grounding out. you know when you light off a fire cracker and it leaves a black mark, almost like a burn thats what it will look like

do you know which wire it is??? is it a Voltage or a ground on the connector?

then you should have said yellow with black stripes. there are black wires on that connector also. wait i forgot the !!!!

Btw- what does this fuse ...well fuse?...like what does this protect from shorting.. SRS unit-headlights ect..?

anthony, fuse 15 is for your alternator and speed sensor. your speedo is going to bounce around everywhere, and your lights will act all funny 'cause the voltage regulator in your alternator isn't working right 'cause that fuse is blown.

if it blows when you put another one in then you have a short somewhere. i blew this fuse when I shorted my Evap Solenoid wiring onto my intake manifold. you need to have all your sensors hooked up and hooked up correctly. i would also get the correct cap for that junction connector and not just make your own... that could cause big problems.

Trevor, thanks...how will i be able to find the short? where is the wire...BTW i can buy connector caps...honda wont sell them...can anyone get them for me?
