1) Rubber inside front fenders
2) Spare tire gone and equipment
3) Spare tire cover
4) Rear impact beam

I am nut trying to gut my entire car out, I still want to look like its in one piece lol. What other things have you guys ripped out that comes to mind and doesnt affect appearence to much. I am keeping the A/C, i am in florida for school and its hot as **** down here I need it considering I am from D.C, I don't take this heat to well. Anyways shoot some ideas

Weight reduction is as follows.

1) Watch what you eat. Avoid all fast food if possible.
2) Exercise daily. Try running for 20-30 mins.
3) Drink lots of water.

With these three steps you should see your 1/4 times drop in a month or so.

J/K.

Have you thought about the rear seat? Or is it already out? You could always go P/S and A/C.

Pull your headliner, carpet, etc out of the car. Pull all the plastic trim panels if you want to look totally stripped. Consider replacing some of the glass with acrylic. Get a CF hood and front fenders. Replace the seats with some fiberglass shells. Get a lightweight racing battery. Maybe replace your fuel tank with a small fuel cell where the spare used to be.

not sure if you have looked but there is a bunch of heat shielding bs under the car. just unbolt and place in the trash. all the sound deading crap under the front seats, grab a putty knife and a hair dryer and get to work.

well 2 things... the sound deadening stuff is much easier to get out with dry ice... and second acrylic instead of glass makes your car non-street legal... (I think)... and you can't un roll them usually...

The exercising i have done. When i first moved to college I was 155lbs, benching 305lbs, one rep, but still. Then i gained 40 lbs of beer drinking capacity. Then lost it all two years later and back to normal . I plan on the hood. The heat shields underneath removed, since it was hitting my 3" thermal exhaust. Maybe, fund permitting, I might go with those FAL rear windows which reduce weight by something like 25lbs. Removed the ECU cover lol. Rubber lining gone as mentioned by someone. Now some spoke of some vents or whatever? What exact were you reffering to? I have no power steering. No cruise control. No power windows, brakes, locks sunroof. I truely belive my 3" thermal is lighter than the stock exhaust so I am figuring i saved some weight there. Anyone ever take apart the dash? Any misc crap there? Thanks all

The whole windshield wiper fluid bottle and motors. Maybe 10lbs. Lighter rims help more than they seem. Passenger seat is 4 bolts. Dashes are bitches and getting them to line back up is a pain.

Yes def on the rims. I am in the process of selling my current wheels. I had to get them temporarily caues i was using a spacer and that was not very assuring. I have had

1) 18" konig monsoons ... no clue what i was thinking,
2) 17" Kosei RT Pentas, decently light really liked them weighed in a 17lbs
3) 17" Alessio Turbos, look nice, but to heavy. I can really feel the difference with these wheels on the acceleration is lacking.
4) on order --> 17" Racing Hart CP-8R's.

I have to stick with the 17" wheels cause of my brakes, the CP-8R racing claims to come in a 12lbs for a 17" which is perfect for me. I just remembered I removed the rubber lining underneath the front bumper as well. I think anymore stuff I might lose my cars daily driving ability.

Carbon fiber windshield.
Buy DRFlickner's racing Carbon Fiber speedo.
Go #2.
Shave.
Remove your stock battery, buy a lightweight Spoon one, and then remove it too.
Shave body side mouldings.
Remove your alternator...you won't be needing it without a battery anyways.
Cut your pedals in half.
Remove the shift ****.

Anything I missed?

Interior?!?! What's that? I don't have any.... do you need it? I thought just a big piece of metal with a dash and a drivers seat is how it was supposed to be
