Weighed my EK hatch today. This CANT be right!
I went to the Wiegh station off Ellis Rd. today and i think it was off by a little. Today I wieghed less with me IN THE CAR than I wieghed before with me out of it. Before,When I had the LSvtec swap and full interior(leather) and a 1/4 tank of gas it wieghed 2420lbs (w/out me). Today it wieghed 2400 W/me and a 1/4 tank of gas. WTF? I have gutted it quite a bit more but thats just crazy! I have a SOHC now and just Del sol seats up front (nothing in back) but that cant be 260lbs of weight reduction. Has anyone wieghed on there recently? Was it off?
BTW, I weigh 240lbs. So thats 2160 w/out driver if the scales correct. I If it is accurate...Sorry Matt. My EK is lighter than your EG

Hey,
Take a look this: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=232443
My EK was 2115 without me in it! I'm beginning to think the scales I used were wrong though...I might check it out again sometime though...

Ok i'm back!
92 VX, full interior front and back, cargo cover, everything.
Certified Truckstop scales here in KY,
front axle 1460lbs
rear axle 820lbs
trailer axle 0lbs
Total weight with me included = 2280lbs
I weigh 160lbs so the car weighs 2120lbs without me.
So hehe

My 1992 CX weighs 2040lbs. with swap and 4-wheel discs, stock cast-iron manifold, and the steel hood and bumper bars still in!

You are your stripped interior B18C5-EH2...hehe...I'd like to follow suit, if it wasn't for the fact that i have to use the rear seats for passengers every once in a while!

Turbo R > Turbo SOHC
Turbo R > Turbo SOHC
that my friend is price/performance ratio.
