I didn't know hatches were that light. I thought 2000 lbs was CRX territory only. to you guys.
Just wondering, what's the weight of the stock engine in the CX, VX, and a B16/18? (I'm in the process of selling my teg and buying an s2k/350z. I'd like a daily driver and was looking into civic HB's. Can't have a bland ol'Civic as my DD. Thanks.)

Re: (Tad)
Yes, I weighed it with me in it. Some of the mods I have done are: JDM B16a Sir II, DC Sports 4-1 header, crappy short ram air intake, thermal exhaust, eibach springs, kyb struts, skunk 2 strut bar & lower tie bar, and ls mesh wheels.

Ok, so can we swap in this "smaller" gas tank? I have a '93 LX Sedan
also, are the rumours of California cars having a much smaller windshield washer tank true, I don't drive my car in the winter so I'd swap that too...
I work at Honda of Canada Manufacturing in Alliston and I swear someone said we used 4 litre jugs (about 1 gallon) for all Civics and 1 litre jugs for the California cars...

Re: (Solo2EG)
I just would have thought my car would weigh alot less then what it does but I'm fine with it, still pretty light. My two friends weighed there cars ones got a 92 accord and it was 3300 Ibs. and my other friend has a 95 GMC Jimmy (I no, he's not really into imports so) but it weighed 4400 Ibs. Both of them have stock interior and no gutting or anything
