Weighed my DX hatchback...
Gutted behind the driver/passenger seat...no plastic etc. No power steering, no power anything, no a/c so a/c compressor has been taken off as well. The car has an LS swap in it. It weighed 1800lb with me out of the car and exactly 3.46 gal of gas. So, my race weight is ~1980lb or so. Seems like that is a little to light for a EG, but my buddy weighed his Type R full interior and without him and hit right at 2570lb, so it seems to be accurate.

Re: Weighed my DX hatchback... (1.8t)
That is really light. There was a thread about weight and what it takes to get there, listing a bunch of cars. I wonder how your car compairs.
edit: found it, lots of good stuff https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=150315

As the owner of a COMPLETELY!!! stripped out hatch, I think that's a little too light.
I have a D16z6, which is about 75 pounds lighter than your motor.
No steel bumpers.
The only thing left inside is a stock seat, and a steering wheel, and shifter.
Oh, and the door guts for the windows.
VX 13 inch wheels.
No dash, no heat, no air, no nothing. Empty. Bare metal everywhere.
On corner weight scales I'm at 1850 with a full tank without me.

The difference in gasoline weight would account for some. Gasoline is 6.2 or 6.4 # per gallon, I cant remember exactly which one.. Assuming you have a DX with a 12 gallon tank, thats around ~8 gallon difference.. 8x6.4= ~50lbs ..
But this still doesnt account for the 75 lbs of B series..
I weighed my 93 DX hatch, with a full tank it was 2120#. It has A/C, power steering (it was an auto, which I converted thus the P/S) interior stripped from seats back, no tar or carpet. It did have the spare and the jack in. This was on HX wheels also.. everything else is stock.. no integra brakes or anything like that.
I can come up with close to 120lbs of things to remove.. A/C 35#? , P/S 11#?, 13# Gold Wing battery, throw out the jack, spare and tools 25#?.. and run 2 gallons of gas in the tank thats a free 64 lbs of gas vs a full 12 gallon. All that totals around 150 lbs, but i hate to pull numbers out of my *** as far as weights go but I think my guessimations are close. But I'm dont see my car getting too far under 2000lbs.
What am I missing? Both of you guys are well over 100 lbs lighter even if i finshed stripping my ride. Fiberglass bucket seats? CF hood?
Supposedly the old man who had my car before me, had it heavily undercoated for 6 years in a row. That could be adding weight.
Thoughts?

lick the link in my thread and see what most people are getting stripped. Contribute to that, lean from it, and call BS with backup from other people who have stripped their cars down if you must.

Re: (PhucNguyen57)
Yea, I think 1800lbs is too light....1900/2000lbs would seem about right for all that I have done. I will hit some other scales to see if there is any consistency to the numbers.

my 94 si with abs and gsr swap weighed 2450 without me and thats with everything...spare and jack, a/c, p/s, full interior and a 1/8 of a gas tank

My 94dx w/h22 no a/c, p/s full interior. No big stereo or anything, about 1/2 tank weighed in at 2380 with me in it. I also weigh a wopping 125 soaking wet. I think that may help.
