Default weighed the CX last night.........HOLY ****!

i weighed it last night at my local track here in oklahoma, here are the stats:

95 white CX hatchback
FULL A/C
no spare tire
no backseat
1 medium size amplifier
4 6.5 inch speakers
no carpet in back
3/4 tank of gas

2,080 lbs!!!!!!!!!

so that means if i had no gas, i would be either just under 2000 lbs or just above it!!! wow!!! lol, i just thought some of you guys might find this kind of interesting.

strip the a/c and remove all the plastic molding from the back of the car if not done already and you will be below 2000lbs.. you could also remove the passenger seat to get rid of another 30lbs and as for the gas 1 gallon of water (or gas) weighs about 8lbs just go to the track on an empty tank and you will lose about 50 more lbs.. btw, what where your times w/ a stock civic cx??

there will be no stripping of interior panels or a/c. it probably had about 8 gallons of gas in it. i didnt run it cuz im scared of the 70hp at the flywheel getting me into some trouble..... lol, no, its just at the track down here in oklahoma, all of the ******* rednecks are the biggest import haters of all time, and i dont want to go blaze off a high 19 or something in front of them. i'll just stroll out there after my motor is done and blaze off some VERY good times, and watch all of the shut their mouths. i'm about to go g-tech the **** out of it though, and i'll post back when i get done **** raping it for no reason, lol.

ps== "the trunk owns me"????? what the hell is that?

depending on how much water is in the gas, it can range anywhere from 6.14 ppg to 7.5 ppg.

I weighed my Dx along with Brandon(twinturbobb), and I weighed in at 2130. I had no doorpanels and the back was completely stripped. What does the DX have that the CX doesn't? I read here on the site that the DX has more tar in it, and I have confirmed this by sight. How much does each piece of tar weigh? Is it that much? What's the differences in engines, weight wise?

p.s. i have A/C too

DX/Si has an 11.8 gallon gas tank while the CX/VX has a 10 gallon tank.

It'a all broken down perfectly in my Weight Thread here on H-T...

I'll "TTT" it so you can read it y0!

I wieghted my 93 civic SI at the track a while ago..it was 2080 pounds also. Mine has no a/c, no rear seat, mostly stripped interior, just two seats and a dash, and then all the turbo stuff weights alot...i still have a sunroof though and rear disc brakes etc etc.

eg's rock.
