Weapon r secret intake?
What can anyone tell me about this "Revolutionary" intake that will add 8hp to a sohc vtec civic. I saw it on ebay and was wondering if it was legitimate. Or if they make a CAI with the same theory. I've never really heard about it on h-t. But im guessing with good reason..

A velocity stack increases flow velocity and can decrease pressure when there's a change in flow direction, similar to a venturi. It's an excellent way to make more power.

Darn, beaten to it.
That said... if it does have an intake with a velocity stack on the end... it might prove to gain power. How realistic those gains are... shrug.

still, not worth almost $200. add a summit racing $20 velocity stack to your generic ebay intake and you have the same thing.

I didn't say anything about price, or worth in my post. I was posting about the stack.
