Re: waterpump question (simplypinoyy)
it probably would, but i would just go to auto zone or pep boys and get the one meant for your car, you should also change the belt if your going to be down there.

Re: waterpump question (B18C1 Del Sol soon)
well I want to but their like 100 bux at autozone and i dont have that kind of money for the next 3 weeks due to school and I know that the water pump on my d15b7 works fine just that i dunno if the teeth around the water pump matches up w/ the teeth on the water pump for the z6 ?

Re: waterpump question (simplypinoyy)
try and compare them, and if they work they work, but if not then go to your nearest junkyard and try and find one.

You obviously didn't even give them a call! |
Re: (sheepeg3)
im not local lolz i live in CT not CA but thanks man like I called em their 99.99 for the d16z6 and 24.99 for the d15b7 atleast thats what they said when i called em.

lol true.... i think the valucraft start at 14.99 with 5 doller core charge with 1 yr warrenty, then 1 for like 24.00 with llt war. and then one for 36 which is supposly a lil better...

Re: (sheepeg3)
NAPA - $50.
At least get a new/rebuilt one so you won't have to worry with it for another 90k miles. My $.02 |
fuck Napa same shit as autozone and autozone is lower in price
|
just use the D15B7 pump. it should work about the same.
|
Re: (2FAST4U831)
so the bolt patterns are the same ?
|
Re: (simplypinoyy)
The part numbers (Honda) are different for the two pumps. Majestic Honda has NEW pumps for $50.
I'm not going to say the D15B7 pump won't bolt in and work, but it isn't the same HONDA part number. Or the same Napa part number. Or the same Autozone part number. Or the same.....see where I'm going with this? Oh, and sheepeg3 - got any proof on that price thing? Napa = $42 dollars for new pump, Autozone = $79 to 99. See here: http://www.napaonline.com/cgi-...51676 http://www1.autozone.com/servl...+PUMP Both for the CORRECT PUMP, the Z6 pump! You can lead a horse to water..... |
http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com That's Mejestic Honda everyone on this site should have there address. I have ordered well over $1500.00 in parts from them. They'll save you lots of cash. All OEM Honda parts.
