yeah, just monitor the coolant level and you should make it a week or two.
and it's true, you can change it yourself for a significant savings. but the reason they charge so much is because it's gotta be done right (if you try it yourself be sure to have a good service manual handy) and there's a lot to get out of the way to change one part. that said i wouldn't go to the trouble to replace the water pump without also adding a new timing belt, cam seal, crank seal and accessory belts. i also feel that whenever the pump is replaced a new thermostat should go in with it. lastly, the valve cover has to come off to do the job, so if it's leaking at all (and chances are good it is..) i'd replace [the gasket] as well.
you can find good deals on timing belt kits on eBay and other similar online sources.

Ok i'll make sure I do replace all those! Nd I have a 50/50 bottle of coolant in my car just in case nd I keep the heater on also? I heard it keeps the temp down.. I called around shops to see how much it cost nd I'd rather just do it myself... Thanks!

Make SURE you use an OEM Honda water pump, too. Aftermarket ones I've heard are notoriously unreliable. Price difference - whatever it is - will be worth it, given how much trouble it is to replace. You don't want to have to redo it again in short order.

Yes you can drive it around based on how much it is leaking. If its not leaking badly just drive it around and watch for the coolant to go down and add some coolant or water in there until you have time to change the pump.
