Water Pump installation problem! Has anyone done this, suggetions?
Ok so I was changing my timing belt and when I was putting on the new water pump I broke one of the four 10mm bolts that hold it on, the bottom left one to be exact. Its in there, so drilling it and an using an easy-out may be a option, but its a little close to the fender to get a drill in there....
I was thinking maybe to go with just three bolts, do you think this would be good enough to hold a seal? I was even thinking of going as far as adding a little liquid gasket to help keep things sealed.
lol things never go as smoothly as expected, thanks for any input thanks!!

I would guess it'll probably leak. I don't know anyone who has only used 3 bolts for it... As for me, when it comes to the cooling system like that, I don't leave anything to chance... The gasket maker might do, but keep a VERY close eye on your coolant level. Good luck.
