water leak on driver side not the passanger side?

Default water leak on driver side not the passanger side?

I have searched and found that alot of civics have the water leak problem n the passager side but not on the driver does the recall cover the driver side or does anybody else have the problem with it. Thanks for any help>

Seach for my user name. I had the same problem on my 92 si that got stolen. The best thing I can recommend is to pull the black plastic piece off where the bottom of your winshield is. Check that seal there most likely it is worn out or non exsitant.

thanks hope that works i just took th cowl off and re-calked what i thought it was so i will see if that works, also you didnt have the splash guards on your inner fender did that help if you got some, i dont have them either.

I actually fixed the leak before I got the inner fender wells. The best way to test if you sealed the winsheild well is take some soap or windex spray it on the outside. Then take an air compressor and blow air from the inside. If you see it bubble you still have a leak. Also when you reattach the black plastic piece. Buy some new weather strip material from home depot. Mine almost had none left. And the other thing to make sure is that all of those push buttons that hold it down are in good shape b/c if you only have a few on there it will not seal that good.
