water from exhaust?
i know it sounds like a newb question but i was wonderig why my motor produces water from the exhaust.... it has never done this before until after i put in the new pistons and rods and also i tookt eh cat out for a test pipe.... i have seen sligth moisture before but i just see water droplets just fly out the muffler and it doesnt stop lol... is this bad??

i would think it is the cat but you dont have one
i think what a cat does is put a extra oxygen atom in to your CO exhaust to turn it in to CO2 and H2O
that is why it is called a catlitic converter b/c a catlyist speeds up a rxn
i am not being too clear i dont really understand some one help me out

well the water looks black i can lookinto the muffler and see the water beading up on teh SOOT of the carbon from teh exhaust.. but when i touch teh black water on teh ground with my fingers it comes out clear and wet on my fingers.. does that make any sense??

LIke they said, its condensation, do you notice it does it only cold weather, or both in heat as well. My car does this especially when its cold outside, your fine, don't worry about it.

the water is from moisture in the cylinders...its normal, brand new cars off teh lot have teh same issue...its just a weather thing, but if its excessive you have a problem

it could be. Just cause it's new doesn't mean it's perfect, but that has nothing to do with your situation.
I've heard that an engine produces the same wright of water out the exhaust, as it does gasoline that it burns.
1 gallon gas = 1 gallon of water....vaporized obviously

mines is jsut like that... **** load of water splashing out from the muffler... i guess its a sign of a healthy motor?
