Either that or maybe the heater core was damaged and the coolant is slowly draining into the car???? A bent, or creased inlet or outlet pipe will cause it to leak, had it happen to me, soaked the entire car inside!

no ac, it was totally removed and the heater core is fine, it's deffinately water, and only on the drivers side floorboard, it has to be a leak somewhere but i can't figure out where

Check the seal around the front windshield. Just a visible check to see if there is a gap between the windshield and the plastic cover behind the wipers. If there is a gap water can leak through there sometimes.

I had this problem occur once. It was on the passenger side of my 93 Si, I noticed the carpet was wet and thought "damn heater core....arghh". But it wasn't the heater core, as a matter of fact it was from washing my car the previous day and the water slowly worked its way into the carpet.

Hasn't happened since . Honda gurus excuse the following. I think on Hondas like most cars when a heater core goes its the passenger side that gets wet not the drivers side.

Good luck.

window seal is good, the window was just put in the car about 6 months ago, i'm wondering if it's getting cloged up in the wiper tray?? and for some reason going into the car instead of out

yea with the amnount of water thats coming in it has to be a pretty big seal thats leaking. I think i'm gonna pull the cowl and see if i can see where it might be coming in, it's buggin the **** outta me though, the carpet is brand new and i have leather, and a bunch of stereo in the trunk......wich doesn't seem to be wet....

i've got the exact same problem....my carpet was getting wet for a while so i took it out to try and isolate the problem. the water drains down the kickpanel after/during rain. if i take my cowl off what should i look for? i know my plastic moldings are shot but thats only for appearance . 94 si ............................

not sure i haven't isolated the problem yet, i know my drains are clean and hooked up, i blew them all out and everything, i've had sunroofs leak before in ef's and the water just sits up there then spills all over your neck when you drive.

check the rubber boot where your door wiring goes through. This is a good source for water to come through while driving especially if you have taken out your splash guards from the wheel wells.

i had the same exact promblem your having, after i got my whole car re-painted, it started leaking, my drivers floor board was soaking wet and so was all the floor boards and the whole back seat, so i gutted the whole interior, seats, carpet the whole 9, and sprayed the car with a water hose and found the leak, it was coming in from my tail lights, not sure why but it never happened untill after i got the car painted, maybe try that and see if it helps, however it is a ton of work to take every thing out (for me at least)so good luck keep us posted
