Well i went by a local shop today and picked up a few parts.. he was giving me pretty good deals so i couldnt refuse ahah.. one of the items i picked up was this muffler.. i liked it because it almost looks like the spoon one..

well pretty much the price tag on it said 175 and i got it for 80.. didnt sound bad to me so i picked it up..

anyone know wat it is? wat its worth? im getting it throwin on my car tomorrow with 2.25 piping no cat with a 2001 civic lx stock resonator.. lmk wat u think

Kinda looks like the old Revolver exhausts popular with the AE86 guys

nope nothing.. i looked everywhere on it.. the guy who owns the shop (clint) has his dad go 1 sometimes 2 times a year to japan and he goes to all the junk yards and pulls off a **** load of parts and sends them back to his son (clint).. he was sayin he thinks its a vishnu? or how ever u spell it?

It's mose likely that one you're talking about, AE86 ones.
Go ahead and throw it on and see how it sounds.

It's probably a generic muffler w/ some welding.

muffler on a 01 lx? why? i guess whatever floats your boat.

but anyways prob not gonna sound too good cuz you have no cat...are you replacing it with your stock muffler?

not a stock 01 muffler.. the stock 01 resonator so the exhaust isnt raspy.. i searched you tube for 5zigen border 304 and there are a few on civics and they sound kinda clean...

i got the exhaust put on today and it sounds sick.. i did 2.25 piping no cat with a 22" resonator.. i didnt use the stock 01 resonator.. im getting get a sound clip of it tomorrow and show the flames it shoots when hittin 2 step..
