Washer Fluid Light will not turn off 98 civic
This is not my civic, so I do not have the full details.
They have been having a problem where this light will not turn off. The assumption was that this meant the washer fluid was low, but there is plenty of fluid. Is this what this light means? Or perhaps just a broken sensor in the washer fluid resevoir? http://www.we-todd-did-racing.com/we...ZkMzF5NTQx.jpg edit: resized |
Re: Washer Fluid Light will not turn off 98 civic (MonkeyPuzzle)
I don't have that light, and the rest of us USDM civics don't have it either, what car is that?
edit: btw theres probably 2 wires that go to the reservoir for the sensor just cut them and twist them together???, im not sure how its switched but I would imagine its like the e-brake light, (-) switched |

Re: Washer Fluid Light will not turn off 98 civic (DohcSide)
probably the sensor in the washer tank is bad or the wiring. see if you can the helms manual to test the sensor. there should be a specific voltage or resistance when the tank is full or low... good luck!
