Want to reduce 92VX ride height at front. It's now 1" more than my 94CX & 95Si.

My 92VX, which I bought with 225,000 miles, sits 1" higher at the front than my 94CX and 95Si. 3 local service people tell me I must replace the front springs to reduce the ride height to make it the same as the CX and Si. OK if true, but I think the springs are original. Could it be the struts, which I believe have been replaced?

Struts add Zero height to the static ride height UNLESS the spring perch is somehow in a different location due to the incorrect strut being installed. My guess is the springs are just...longer. The Strut is only a dampener, the spring and the height of the spring perch are what most commonly affect ride height.

the VX sits higher than the other trims normally.
If you want to lower it, go with a different set of springs that are designed lower the car.
