want to put h22a in eg, possible?
planning to put h22a into my eg. question is....is it possible? if so what axle would work for my eg and would the h22a ecu plug right into my obd-1 plug and run? also will the mounts work or which mounts do i need. and which wire harness will i need to use? if there is a site that has the whole write up on this swap, that would be the best.
any inputs is greatly appreciated. i need as much info as i can get, i was debating either h22a or k20a into my eg. i want the torque thats why i'm considering these two motors. and for the h22a, is the tranny long or short compare to say a b18c? is there any other tranny that will fit with the h22a? i know i'll have more questions later. but thanks for any inputs.

Got a little time and some bank??? Then it won't be hard.
Mounts, ECU, harness, linkages, and axles.
The Driveshaft Shop makes pre fabbed axles for you... so it will be pretty much just finding the parts, and putting a little time into it.

Yes it works, and it's very nice. I finished mine up a couple of weeks ago and it's a ton of fun.
Go here for all the information you could possibly need: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread/650329 Basically you will need mounts, axles, and you'll need to install the cable shifter and deal with wiring. Whether you buy a wiring harness or do it yourself is up to you.
You can make a B-series or D-series tranny fit the H22A with an adaptor plate (H2B and H2D respectively). Definately an option to look into if you don't need A/C.
My opinion on K20A versus H22A is you have tons of extra money laying around, get the K20A. But if you have just enough to complete the K20A swap, I'd rather get the H22A and other stuff to go with it. Sure the H22A isn't the latest greatest thing out, but it's still pretty damn great.

what does axle binding mean?
and after cutting the two holes to mount the bracket for the shifter does this mean i can never go back to say a B swap or somthing?
and does anyone have any site for a full write up on doing a k swap into my car.
thanks for all the inputs you guys.
