walbro fuel pump (already searched)
I got a 255 walbro pump for my 99 civic. The little sock filter thing that came with it is alot smaller than the stock one. When the stock one's in, it lays paralell to the bottom of the fuel tank. The walbro sock faces at a 45 degree angle facing upward. When the stock on was in it went all the way to the bottom of the tank. The walbro sock only goes to the middle. I ran out of gas today with a half tank of gas. I put the stock sock on the walbro pump but the bottom of the stock pump is opposite of the walbro one. So now I have a new pump and an old tank sock the now goes only an inch lower than the walbro one did. Anyone else have this problem? Did I get the wrong sock with the pump? If so, where can I get the right one. Thanx, all your inputs will be greatly appreciated.

Re: walbro fuel pump (dantastic)
I did put the stock sock on tonight. I doesn't sit the same on the walbro pump because the bottom of the stock pump and the bottom of the walbro pump are opposite. So the sock still doesn't sit right but it's better than the one that came with it.
