Since the pressure regulator, fuel rail and injectors are the dependent variables in the overall flow of the system, yeah, you can run that pump on your ******* lawnmower and nothing will happen.

like he said you can.... but there really wouldn't be a point, unless yours is going out, and you're replacing it. otherwise I'd wait for later down the mod list to do it.

Not sure whats wrong with my del sol but it boggs when stepping on the gas pedal HARD..when idleling it seems like its miss firing cause it makes wierd noise from the exhaust and the engine idles smooth for like 3-4 sec and then u can hear the engine shake..Sometime its hard to start the car as well..but in cold start it seems fine untill it warms up

Check your spark plugs, spark plug wires, dist. cap, fuel filter, fuel pump and injectors before you replace anything.
