Waiting 30 days worth it
So here is my dilema...right now i have the parts and cash to finish building my head...now i can wait another 30 days and get a port n polish, or do it now and go without the port and polish.
My set up is as follows
BC4 cams
BC gears
BC valve train
BC head gasket
BC high comp valves
all on a B16b

It comes with a minor port and polish from the factory...there are however some slight differences in the degree the valves sit at, but you are more or less correct.<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by B16b-EJ8 »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">

Type R engines are ported. Not too much but a bit.I have this DVD and it shows this guy building the engine and shows his polishing the port but it doesnt show if he does it on both intake and exhaust ports. However I think i heard that once, that they only have a mild port on the intake while the exhaust ports dont have a polish.Im not 100% sure tho.
