waht should i do with my 190hp b20vtec and itr suspension?
i guy in town has offerd to trade me a built crvtec that went 13.6@109 on street tires for my setup. id be giving him the complete 5lug conversion, and my longblock in return. my block is bone stock, and his is bulletproof with a 2001 itr head. my motor has run a 13.1@103, so i figure with 109mph, i could be low 12s. you guys think this is a decent deal? ir should i hang onto my setup? i really dont wanna go ack to drums but this block has 2grand into it

IMO, I'd keep the 5 lug because youre car looks really good with it and youre cars hella fast with the stock block. If you decide you can build yours later but id stick with the 5 lug it would suck to go back to drums. Didnt you just get your 5 lug swap?

It's not all cosmetic. Along with dope brakes, you have some nice suspension along with some sway bars.
Keep what you have. Seems like it'd be too much trouble to go back and forth. You're fast enough as it is right now.

Dude, don't get rid of the brakes, you are already sooo fast, all you need is a little more work, just a few hundred bucks here and there and a little visit to the maching shop and your car will be so much better all around.

what the bastard failed to mention was that his head is whack about 40 thousandths, meaning pistion to valve clearance will be impposible wil any big cams.

yea these guys are right, with the head currently wacked so much, i cant put in any wilder cams taht my ctr's, and pistons down the road will have to be of custom spec. thanks for all the replys, ill keep everyoen posted

keep your set up... however ive heard of alot of guys selling the 5 lug off of the ITR's just for xtra cash and its the way you need to go if you want to run bogarts
