i know this person locally who will sell me some with good tires (not sure of the brand) for $130.
right now im using oem steelies.... and would like an upgrade, what do u think?
btw they are in rough shape and could use some refurbishing but, its on my DD so im not too worried.

Re: (allricedout)
I sold mine for like $80 with decent tires. I didn't really like them b/c they're a little too small. I'd rather have HXs
Yeah they're around 9lbs

I got my set in on trade for a set of 18" wheels I had. I've had HX and VX both, and I'm currently using the VX. They are both made by Enkei for Honda and I didn't notice any difference in quality. VX are around 9 lbs each and HX are like 11.6 lbs or so each.
If the tires are really good and the wheels aren't curbed/bent up and just need paint, they're probably worth the asking price. They don't bring as much as HX wheels, but they are good to keep around as spares.
Honestly, it depends on what you are wanting. If you don't really care about performance tires and just want better fuel economy for cheap, get them. HX are more expensive and heavier (by about 2-3 lbs each), but you can find a better variety of tires.

you can sell them for like 150. or if you race on the track they are good for rear trailering wheels. less weight on your rear tires will help you on the track

i might be getting a set then tonight.... and yea, i hope they improve my gas mileage a little, because they weigh 9 pounds less each than my oem steelies so thats 36 pounds saved of rotational mass, not bad i think i'll get them.....

i would say pick them up... and repaint them with a desired color... from what i've read ENKEI custom manufactured the oem vx and hx wheels for honda.... i would say they have some decent value left in them.

Take into account that the VX rims won't fit over some calipers depending on what model car you have.
