vtech question
I have a b16 with headers exhaust cams pistons and vtech is fine through the first 3 gears but is sluggish on 4th and 5th gear kinda hesitates. Anyone got some feedback?

I mean its not smooth like it is in th first 3 gears. If im cruisin dn the interstate in 5th gear when I get to vtech u hear it kick in but it doesnt accelerate like it should but on the other hand the first 3 gears eat up rpm

It's becuase you have a B16 and there is no tq, it's going to feel sluggish in the higher gears no matter what is done for the most part.
Just a hint, all inline fours only have a HEADER, and they all have pistons and cams, some one cam and some two cams. It's also called VTEC, not vtech, they make phones.
Either way, try to be a bit more specific and you will get better responces.

do you expect vtec to pull like it would in 1st gear when it's in 5th gear?
I can't think of any engine that can pull harder in 5th then in 1st? Unless it can't catch traction in 1st, but it should always have more power in lower gears.
Your car is normal. I think you need to learn the torque multiplication in the gears of the transmission...
