Vtech kicking in @ 5,700rpm, why?
i'm in an EK ex coupe and for some reason the vtech kicks in at 5,700. why the hell is it coming in so late? it happens every time, in every gear... can anybody help me?

are you serious, thats normal driving...I go past 4k shifting normal all the time.

With an SRI you can hear it. Feeling it, well that's another issue all together.

On SOHC motors, VTEC can kick in anywhere from 4700-5500 neighborhood. The ECU determines the crossover point based on various inputs and conditions.
