VTEC wiring
This is a really noob question but I have never swapped a motor before. I recently purchased a D16y8 from donvito.
I did search and found several topics that were helpful, especially those from FF-Squad, but I need some thing cleared up before I jump into this.
According to to this photo will I be able to use my harness(A) to the new P2P ECU for my 94 CX? If so, is this where I wire in the VTEC? I am going to want to use the supplied engine harness(B) for the D16y8 which is already factory wired for VTEC?
And since I am using the D16y8 engine harness do I still need to wire the CX harness for the four wire O2 sensor since mine is a one wire O2 sensor on the ECU side?
How about the Knock Sensor?
Sorry in advance, but thanks for any help!

Re: VTEC wiring (Mark D. Surface)
You cannot use the D16Y8 engine harness for this swap.
Either use your CX harness and add the VTEC wireing and 4-wire o2 sensor wiring, or find a 92-95 Civic Si/EX harness to make things easier.
Also you will need to ditch the P2P ECU and find yourself a P28 ECU.

Re: VTEC wiring (B18C5-EH2)
BTW there will be a few differences to work out as far as the IAT and IACV sensors are concerned too.
I'm sure someone else who has done the same swap can shime in and offer more definate answers about these two items though.

Re: VTEC wiring (B18C5-EH2)
Im assuming the 92-95 EX/Si engine harness will plug into the D16y8?
What are the issues with the IAT and IACV sensors?
Anyone that has done this swap want to fill me in?
