VTEC wire harness problem with d16y8
motors been swapped in my 00 ek from a d16y7 to a d16y8 vtec which wire harness do i need
Obd2B 99-00 Civic Si Vtec wiring harness or Obd2A 96-98 Vtec Wiring harness thanks in advance guys!! |

'99 - '00 EX coupe. If your car is a manual get the manual harness, its an automatic get the automatic harness, they are different.
Edit. You can add the vtec wiring to original harness as well and preform the IACV fix if you don't want to buy a harness. |

and im not sure what year the motors is in my car......so do i still get 99-00 harnesses?

The '99 - '00 Si harness will work, but if i remember correctly the Si uses the large style distributor plug and the EX uses the small style. Get a '99 - '00 harness. You can definately make the Si harness work, but you may need to swap the distributor connector. |
