Default vtec spool valves

hello everyone,
im looking for a vtec spool valve, solenoid or whatever its called for a 94 civic coupe with D16Z6 engine. Anyone got any links or directions for where to get it?
Is there any way to repair it?

The solenoid is actually bad? Have you tested it with a 12V power supply? If it doesn't open up the windings inside the coil are open and need to be replaced.

Spool valve errors (CELs) usually arise when the screen in the VTEC solenoid has deteriorated to the point of letting **** into the spool valve, thus clogging oil passage into the VTEC sensor.

Clean it out and get a new screen for like $10 at Honda.

i´ve tried cleaning it with carb cleaner. The filter seems fine visually. Going to try 12v directly and see what happends.

lol its expensive, i have an extra laying around. they will run you for about $200. but pm me if you still need it i can sell you mine for half that price. It;s off a EJ8, but i think it should work for ur Z6 as well...pm me..
