what's the problem? the vtec solenoid is completely missing? do you still have your 2p plug that plugs into it?

Well i bought it missing the vtec solenoid. I went to the junk yard the other day and found a DOHC head with no cams but it still had the vtec solenoid which it was mounted to the back of the head so i grabbed it but it doesnt seem to look the same as the one that is spose to go on it which it mounts to the side of the B16A3 head now what i was wondering is what other motors can i get this solenoid off of besides the B16A3 like i think i can get it off a B16A but not sure.

i would assume any b series vtec solenoid would work, although i know some k20 solenoids aren't interchangeable so it's possible it won't work.. have you looked at any for the b16s or online for a replacement even?

JDM OBD2 vtec solenoids don't have a vtec pressure switch. You can simply connect the signal wire for the vtec pressure switch to the signal wire for the vtec solenoid though to fool the ECU into thinking it's there.
