vtec, rpm, fuel, coolant gauge problem
i've searched, and couldn't find a straight answer. i recently put a 97 b16b swap in my 94 civic ex. my setup is a edelbrock intake manifold, rc 310 injectors, hondata intake manifold gasket and a 95 jdm b16a ecu and everything is pretty much stock. i replaced my t-belt and it's not off timing. i removed my heater core and capped off where the old hoses use to go. and my car has been sitting for 2years.
problem is when i hold the accelerator pedal above 2000 rpm then it drops down a 1000 rpm fluctuating. but it doesn't fluctuate at idle. coolant temp gauge on cluster is not giving a reading, but was working the other day. my radiator fan is kicking in. all my vacuum lines are hooked up. the other day vtec kicked in but wouldn't let me pass 6000 rpm. then vtec wasn't working today, but it let me rev pass 8000 rpm today. and i dont have any engine codes
when i searched i found that the t-stat needs to be replaced, clean the fitv, clean the iac valve, needs a distributor, replace the fuel filter and pump, vacuum leaks
any ideas of any past experiences please help me out. thanks
