Default vtec question

Hey, quick question, were civics available in any model with a vtec engine AND automatic transmission? [used to have an integra, but all vtec integras had to be a manual tranny]

only asking cause i've seen 2 civics around my campus...one with a huge 'vtec inside' across his hood, only its offset a lot, and continues down onto the passenger fender, and another guy with a wierd badge i've never seen, says VTEC with tuning in red below it....

only both cars are automatics? are these as rice as I think, or do civics have a model with vtec and auto?

no need to be an *** about it, the guy just asked a simple question.

the ex model came in auto vtec form but those badges you saw are rice master emblems, cheesy aftermarket ones not from the factory

All models that came as a ex, vx, si were all vtec motors, the civic vx and ex could be manual or automatic regardless. The si never came in an automatic.

Lookie here ***. This is a message board here for people to learn. You DO NOT know everything. You DO NOT know more than everyone else on this board. Hopefully next time you ask a question, nobody goes out of their way to make themselves look like an ***.
