Vtec Problems!!!!!!!!!
okay..this might sound weird but i'll explain best I can. Alright i have 95 Civic with b16a2 swap..on my tach vtec kicks in at 5,000... but it dont bounce red line till 9,000.. okay..if i leave from dead stop giving it hell shifting at like 8,000 by the time i hit third gear check engine light comes on and vtec stops working..but if i turn car off then back on, Vtec works again?? any ideas??

check engine light comes on only when im giving it hell like i said but if i shift at like 6000 vtec works great..its only when i get high rpms

okay but if i turn car off check engine light wont come back on till im giving it hell so even without the light on, will a computer be able to tell whats wrong?
