VTEC PROBLEMS.

Default VTEC PROBLEMS.

i used to own a sohc vtec (d16a6). my gsr's vtec now isnt kicking in as loud as i thought. any suggestions to solve this problem?

if you want vtec to pop and make your ear go deaf on a gsr your gonna need to switch at least the intake manifold and maybe get some cams.

thats the problem you thought you had vtec in your crx si motor, you mean d16z6?

Sure. I have a samba green del slow with a built b20vtec setup. Vtec is cool, but watching older men in they're muscle cars frown when the POS girly honda own3s them is best IMO

vtec crossovers of gsr's are not as loud

What kind of answer are you looking for?! If you can hear your vtec crossover, even if it isnt loud, its still there meaning you vtec is infact engauging and everything is operating properly. So whats the problem? If your vtec isn't loud enough with the GSR, then sell it and go back to your single cam. PROBLEM SOLVED!
