Vtec problems

Vtec problems
I have a 94 coupe with a gsr b18c. When i hit 4500rpm it sounds like vtec kicks in but i feel nothing. Then when i hit 6000 it then again it sounds but no power?? I check my oil its full. I have no idea what the problem is. HELP!

check your timming, sparkplugs and gapping ..what brand you using??
make sure you use premium fuel, what ECU are you using??

The car is not actually mine... Its my buddy jeffs he told me the motor has never seen less the 91tang. I believe that it is the stock integra ecu.To tell you the truth i dont think there is even a problem. He crys and crys about it all the time. Thats why im asking because i cant find a problem....
