vtec not pulling hard...please help!
aight i recently did a b16a in my 95 civic cx obd1, i have everything wired and the car seems to be running good, but my vtec doesnt pull the way it should be pulling..my friend has an identical car same mods and his car is so much faster....
now i have a check engine light..when i try to get the codes instead of my cel blinkingn my srs light does i have no idea why..so im going to try and get an obd1 code puller..ive already searched and found similar problems like mine and what they have done..i tried...tune up..fuel filter..timing...grounds...oil pressure...like i said its kicking in i unplugged it and noticed the diff. its just not pulling hard..so anyone who knows what it might be or had similar problems let me know..thanks H_T

i think you may need to do some legsquad, put the pedal to the metal.
unless you have an AUTO cams in your B16, or timming is off....

p30....also i have some more bad news that might be good news...i was driving back from school today and all a sudden my car just like stopped running...i kicked it back over and i fell on its face..like it was running out of gas..mmmmm fuel filter is new...my car isnt starting so i was thinking maybe the fuel pump was bad..i cracked open the banjo bolt to the inline filter and turned my car over...there was no gas squirting out...so i riped apart the back seat(on the side of the road haha) and cracked open the other bolt to the pump and turned over the key i had a little fuel squirting out..the pump is running but i was thinking maybe its not pushing enough pressure to the engine..and maybe this would be that my vtec isnt pulling hard...so tell me what you think..bump

The fuel pump itself will work, but might need some slight modification with hoses and you should probably use the original filter.
P30... chipped? or stock? If it's stock, then it's not suppose to pull hard.. haha
try resetting the ECU?
My buddy actually did the same exact swap.. did it in 2 hours.. no problems at all...
