Vtec (Not engaging)?
I know there's a way to check if Vtec "clicks", but I'm not sure how; it was said to me a light should be connected to the solenoid, I'm not sure which part of the solenoid it should actually connect to however- do you? Also, does timing play a key role in VTEC, I know if you have it too advanced, your "rev. limiter" will cut off sooner, etc. Anyone who can help or post a link would be appreciated!

Re: Vtec (unbelievableEG)
It's a SOHC ZC, all the wires are connected properly, I'm just not sure if it's engaging because the thieves who stole my car fucked w/ it a lot. I've had CEL problems since I purchased the car, I'd imagine it was because the EVAP Purge sensor was never connected b/c this ZC didn't come w/ one. However, my Vtec always cracked. I'm just not sure if it's cracking right now, it feels like it is, but it might not be? would an ignition retard/advancement hinder Vtec? Any thoughts/theorys would be appreciated.
Thank You
