If you mean a stupid little LED when the VTEC engages.

NO. No cars do. That is an aftermarket waste of money.

lol that's funny. I was just thinking about it for some reason. If you want a step by step install instructions goto I'll get the site in a second. Yea, what sushiboy said but the link for the vtec light install isn't working.

I am laughing so hard right now, that is hilarious!
really, I think it would be a good idea to wire up your hazzards to vtec, because you know when you hit vt3k you win!

VTEC to the horn would be sweet too – once that VTEC kicks in, you'd better get outta the way. NOTE: works well with J.C. Whitney "Ocean Liner Blast" air horn.

I wired my vtec to leds on my dash and my indiglo "H" on the back, so when my vtec kicks in and i pass the fools they see the "H" all lit up Just use the instructions for the vtec light from that site, and customize it to relay into the indiglo H, its that easy.

At the House of Boost (we don't think too much of VTEC anyway), "hitting VTEC" has a totally different meaning...

For example, this li'l guy here... he's just about to hit VTEC:

You've got the concept all wrong.

Yes, if you dig into the 'underpinnings' of all Honda gauge clusters, you will find unused sockets and 'blind holes' that aren't being used for anything. So, it just a matter of installing bulbs and/or sockets, adding some wiring, and making a suitable indicator display.

Honda DOES make certain vehicles with a 'VTEC' display; for instance, cars with D15B engines in the Pacific Crest countries, However, they light-up when you are in the 'economy' mode, not the 'power' mode. The OEM concept is to warn you when you are wasting gas, not to reward you for it.

Having said that, there are sites showing you how to modify an OEM cluster to do the opposite. If you're interested, I'll see if I can find one for you. But, really, what's the point? I like the 'walking stupid' windshield banner better!
