vtec light CEL
anybody have this problem....i hooked up a vtec light and the light has a built in resistor....when its cold, and i mean cold, i get a CEL, i believe its from me tapping into the ECU, and when the temp hits normal operating temp i can restart up the car and the CEL is gone, is this normal? i haven't really ran a test to see what the CEL is though...

Re: vtec light CEL (z6hatchboy)
yea, that's the one....haha...i cut the whole wire off and tapped it in that way, but tomorrow i am going to use heat shrink on it, maybe that will help....but i guess its nothing bad though, it has only been throwing me that CEL because its been so damn cold in WI. its been below 28 degrees this whole week and gets colder....
