vtec head swap

vtec head swap
what has 2 be done 2 put a d15b head on a y7 block in order for it 2 run correctly cuz i heard about just removin oil jets????is this swap worth boostin??? i have my jdmd15 boosted right now..but i have a y7 block layin around that i have internals for...so im wondering if i can put my d15b head on the y7 block with no problems(boosted)

You mean a jdm D15B vtec head right? I'm guessing you would need to use the VX timing belt. The y7 block does not have an oil jet on the top of the block so don't worry about that. Why don't you just put a z6 or y8 head on the block?

Im boosting my mini-me as we speak....I have heard that the compression increases with a vtec head due to the shape of the pistons (correct me if im wrong). That is why im buildint mine with lower compression pistons. But mild boost should be alright with the mini me in stock form.
