Default VTEC Engagement Point On The 2002 Civic Ex?

My brother just bought a 2002 ex and, althuogh its still in its break-in stage, I was wondering when vtec engages in it.

i test drove one.
its ok.
not that fast.
very not good to work on.

I have an EX. Its alright, nothign fast though. Theres no way I would spend money to even try to make that motor fast though. No potential unless you swap in a K series.

LOL, yea, it seems no one knows when it engages. I'm not worried about its performance, just wanted to know when it engaged. I guess once its broken in, maybe i'll be able to hear it engage.

at the track back home they were seeming to have pretty good luck with tunning and **** intake and exhaust they were hitting 15.7 and 8
