VSS in rainy weather
Anyone else having this problem?
I drive a 94 civic and everytime it rains, water seems to end up in my VSS and the speedo quits working. I always have to unhook the plug and let the water dry out before speedo will work again. How is the water getting into the VSS? I check the wires on the plug and they always seem dry but is it possible the water is flowing into the VSS from the wires? There's never too much water either, just enough to sit at the bottom and get the plugs, contacts wet.
