I have a vitara set-up in my car and since the day i bought the car it has a up and down flutter 1,000 1,100 1,000 1,100, sound an be for i bought the car i asked the guy , yo is there something wrong with your engine . He said no its the pistons that were just installed they only got 6,000 miles on the build. Now i have heard that the vitara motors have a sound to them is this true??

My motor
vitara pistons low compression
eagle rods
sleeve and block guard or one or the other, two kids told me two diff things cant wait to see whats inside.
stock head
complete stock top end.
stock intake
ram horn manifold
2.5 down pipe
T3/T4
1000cc persison injectors
fuel regulator
tail gate
greedy bov
home made catch can out of PVC came with the car,
tune for 20 psi on log manifold needs a re-tune

this motor runs great and sounds better expect for the sounds mentioned above anyone have this or similar set-up and can tell me about it.
do these motors make any sounds to them when built.

ive never owned one, but from what ive hear u will have piston slap a little

you might have a small vacuum leak somewhere causing the idle issue. if not try turning down the idle to see if that helps. i know some motor act funny with the idle set too high

well the vaccume is at like 20 cold 15 warm and when i let off the throttle when driving gos to 20 or below then back to 15 , but smooth all around.
i just dont know what to do the idel stays at 1000 mostly just flutters like i said.

vacuum should sit at 20 when its warm and a bit less when its cold.

so it has to much vaccume then?
And my motor dos not sound anything like thos at all it has the same knock but not as loud an its coming from the head like a value tick not a rod knock and not loud at all, maybe its just the head that need to be worked. IDK well maybe ill get a vid soon , its not like its bad to be worried about but, has done it since i bought the car and still runns as strong and when i blew a charge pipe its strong but slow strong cuz of low compression im guessing. can my valves be floating at idel?
