Great hood or what? How does it compare to Fiber Images?

The only VIS hood I've seen here i FL was on an 99 integra and I must say that the quality was the best i've seen. The finish and weave was beautiful. There were no sharp areas and it looked very very glossy. Again this is only 1 hood I've seen so im not sure about the other thousands they made.

VIS's tend to be heavier also (so i've heard). Since it's heavier, doesn't it defeat the purpose of a CF hood?

It may be heavier than other CF hoods, but it sure as hell lighter than stock. So no, it doesn't defeat the purpose of replacing the stock hood with a CF one...sure you can go lighter, but the quality of the ViS piece is top notch.

I know some1 who has one on an EK that thing is heavy imo, almost like stock a bit lighter, but still heavy for a cf hood. I would get something else
