VIN on the block?

The VIN should be on my D15B7 right? Where exactly, it should be on the left under where the D15B7 is right?

if its the same as my d16y8 its on the bottom corner of the block under the alternator.

95 and older vehicles have no vin plates just serial #s on the block. and why are you worrying for anyways. you have a stock d15b7 with automatic transmission. why would anyone wanna steal one of those engines and swap it in?

Im not worried about it being stolen. I want to know if its the original engine. Its giving me a lot of problems latey and looking more and more like it had been swaped once before.
