Default VERY Sluggish B swap

As you might have seen, I got a B18c1 installed in my coupe over the weekend. Its a stock B, with only intake/exhaust. I was originally going to get a B18c5, so I got a chipped P28 ecu with 5 chips: Jun, Mugen, Skunk2, Stock, Custom N/A.

I'm wondering what ECU would be best to run on a 95 GSR?

Can I use the chipped P28 with a ITR chip? Should I just use my stock P28? Would a 95 GSR ECU work best?

What chip would I need to run Hondata? I'm planning on getting that next month, but need to know what to use for the time being.

Thanks!

You would need a p72 (crap, or is it the p30) ECU designed for dual butterflies...

Or go p28 with a skunk2 intake man

you should make sure that your wiring is correct. even if you have the correct ECU, your secondaries will not open up if there is a problem with the wiring.

if you put a 95 b18c1 in your car, then use the 95 GSR ECU and see if that cures the problem. if it doesnt then either your wiring is wrong or you have bad luck with engines/ecus.

Ok...I'll try to get a 95 GSR ecu(P72?) and see what happens.

Can I use my P28 ecu with Hondata and have it work?

Correct me if I'm wrong but a P72 obd1 would work best with the stock IM since it controls the IAB in a GSR.

If you have a skunk2 IM and a B16A or ITR tranny then a chipped P28 should produce larger power gains.

Get a p72. Dont run any other programs, like an ITR program. From the sounds of things then engine is stock, so there is no reason to change what program is running the engine.

I am running a OBD1 P72 with my b18c1 swap, and the engine feels very strong.

P28's are the best for hondata. You can get a p72 program burnt till you get some other mods.

if your going to run hondata, you can throw those chips away because the hondata chip has to be installed.
