Default Very HIGH Idle problem. Anyone got tips? 92 CIVIC DX bone stock d15b7

My car is a 92 civic DX bone stock everything d15b7. 5spd. ~178k miles

My car ran fine up until today. I start it up in the morning and drive to work. ~40 degrees outside this morning. When I arrived at work, I noticed my car was idling HIGH at a constant 2000 rpm in neutral. When in gear it idles normal. Usually idles at 2k on cold startup and then goes down under 1k when warm. Searched thru the archives and came across IACV, FITV, or vacuum leak suggestions. Most of the threads pertained to modified cars with swapped engines. Couldn't really get a concrete answer.

--The temps around here were in the 70's and 80's till this weekend when it dropped to around 40 degrees everyday. My high idle problem started today.

--Well anyway, has anyone had a HIGH constant idle ~2k on their stock 92-95 civic engine?
How did u fix it? IACV or FITV

--I don't have time to check it till this upcoming weekend hopefully. Is it bad for the engine to be idling so high? When my car is in gear and rolling, it idles normal again.

--No CEL's. No jumpy idle.

--Please post any good links or writeups for fixing it if you have any. thanks.
